Professor Eun Jig Lee has been working as a Chief of Pituitary Tumor Center, Severance Hospital, Yonsei University Health System in Seoul, Korea.
He started his career as an Assistant Professor at Yonsei University College of Medicine early 1991 and he moved to Northwestern University Medical school in 1995
and stayed till 2006 as a faculty conducting basic and translational research on pituitary tumors.
He moved back to Yonsei University in 2006 and started working together with Professor Sun Ho Kim.
He is conducting clinical, translational, and basic research on pituitary areas, and managing basic research lab as well.
In his lab an animal model for familial acromegaly has been established and also a model for Cushing disease is being developed.
Professor Lee is one of the well-known pituitary specialists world widely and has published more than 100 articles related to pituitary diseases.
Recently he is appointed as an Associate Editor of Journal of Endocrine Society which will be new journal of US Endocrine Society started on September 2016.
He has also been organizing annual symposium of Korean Neuroendocrine Study Group since 2012.
